Why the product looks the way it does
Staffing Complete was designed by staffing company owners, users, employees, and sales teams working together with the people who write it. That is not a marketing line about being customer-led — it is the explanation for a series of specific decisions that would look strange in general-purpose payroll software.
It is why the pay rate and the bill rate both live on the work order, so one time entry produces the paycheck and the invoice. It is why workers compensation class rates sit inside the quoting tool rather than being a note somebody keeps. It is why pay cards are a first-class payment method rather than an afterthought, and why payroll runs any day of the week instead of on a fixed weekly cycle.
None of that gets built by a team that has not sat in a dispatch office at 6 a.m. watching a crew not turn up.
What we actually do
We live and breathe staffing — dispatching workers, transportation, payroll, funding, accounts receivable and payable, tax reporting, workers compensation, invoicing, and garnishments. The company has been doing it since 2004, and the product has grown by adding what clients running real staffing offices needed next.
The stated position on cost has been consistent for two decades: not to charge clients for every request, support call, or new feature. Staffing and back-office operations run on small profit margins, and software that bills for every question makes that worse. How pricing works covers that in more detail.
Support that knows what a work order is
Free training sessions, onboarding for new clients, a toll-free number answered by customer service professionals who understand the needs of staffing agencies, and detailed documentation covering every module alongside a YouTube channel of walkthroughs.
For a company of our size, support is not a department you escalate through. It is the same people who build the product.
Where we are
Carvin Software, LLC is based in Gilbert, Arizona, in the Phoenix East Valley. We serve staffing agencies across the United States, which means multi-state payroll tax, varying paid sick leave ordinances, and state-level employment verification requirements are ordinary engineering concerns here rather than special cases.
Arizona itself is a mandatory E-Verify state for private employers, which is one reason employment eligibility handling is built into onboarding rather than bolted on.
